i still don't really understand why you 'need' the drop, but if it floats your boat, then alright. 8.5 for now, 9.5 with listed ups. nice gat.

Unfortunately I need the drop because I have larger hands and even the smaller tanks squeeze my hands up against the back of the gun which causes bad bruising. Also I already had the freak kit for my other markers. The one piece barrel it came with is nice but the weather changes a lot in my area so the paint changes with it. Too better explain there are only 4 inches and some change space, my hands are 4 1/2 inches wide. It is not like the 06 Ego star trigger frame, it is completely different because it is more compact. You can’t see the difference but your can feel it. I was in the middle of a couple games when my hand began to bruise. They didn’t have any spacers so I got the drop from a limited selection; the balance is actually perfect with it on. Also before I got it, the tank unbalanced the gun and I couldn’t pull off a roll n' snap comfortably. I cant post a picture because its a pain in the ass to remove the drop so I will not do it again. That is a smaller tank, so ratio it.

big hand? stfu take the droop off, i'm 6'4" and i had my guns set up liek a ****ing sniper riffle. also to the ho that said get off the band wagon its been proven that drops reduce the quality fo your play.

Stiff’s suck ass in Maryland weather OA paintball recommends freak over it, aftermarket grips suck cuz they rip (maybe nice for a weekend warrior but not if you play 3+ times a week), I’m making my own board thanks to Grumman engineers, I’m not loosing a drop to make some 13 year olds that don’t even play happy cuz I"D RATHER SHOOT YOU THEN LOOK GOOD! Its something called balance and if you had an ego you'd understand they are lighter then most tanks (except than new polish tank that’s coming out soon). And taxaggie08 could prob take you out on the break. Actually I am willing to take on somebody from my area who believes I should take the drop off. See what they think when they get hit on the break with a flick. Two former team captains from the VT Hokies agree with me as well (Bill--now OA and John---retired) better with the drop. I’m also on the beta list for an upcoming board so I'll build off of that. I have been playing since 1990 and I've played with them on and off (its called personal tuning)...If that effects you playing that much then you don’t belong on the field...You belong in woods ball.

Freaks suck anywhere. How is a Stiffi bad in certain weather? I've owned more barrels than you have most likely ever seen. As long as you get something that .692 bore or above, you're fine in any wheather is any paint.

I had Hybrid grips on my old Ego, never once had a problem with them. They help up fine. My Ego was used in probably 60 or so games a week. (Xball practices)

Losing a drop makes you play better. I know you are saying that you have big hands and whatnot, but I can guarentee I have bigger hands. Using a drop will only ruin your form, make you play worse, and hurt your wrist in the long run.

I've owned 2 Egos. I used a mini drop on my 05, and even then it was turned around to make the set up longer.

Don't try to sound like a hardass just because 2 people who used to play college ball think your good. You've been playing for 10 years? Congradulations, that makes you no better than anyone who has been playing for 1.

The bolt in the E*Tech is vary simmilar to the N* bolt, it gets cold north I need smaller inserts for smaller winter paint and indoor reballs...If your played enough youd know this. You belong in woods ball and you know it.

College ball is nothing to brag about. Most people who are good at paintball refuse to play college ball, thus making most college teams not good at all.

You do realize that overboring is much smarter than using a tight match right?

I know the difference in the Nexus and E-Tek bolts. The Nexus has a ramped inlet hole, and is a bit more consistant and efficient than the stock.

If you really want a barrel kit, atleast get a good kit. The Freak is one of the worst barrel kits you can get. Most of the bores are a little off on size, and when you are trying to get a real tight match like you are obviously trying to do, that can lead to barrel breaks, and Freaks are one of the worst barrels to clean.

And what exactly do you mean by me being "removed"? You do realize that I'm a moderator, don't you?

Ok I see where your going with this... I only use the smaller bores in the winter for reball. For some reason after 2 years of use the reballs started rubbing off in my stiffy and left some kind of coating in it. I did clean it often but it was a build up. I dont care what you are oh internet guru wizerd of oz, Im 22, 6'2 and 240 thats what I am.

I really don’t care what anyone thinks I posted this for ideas not comments about a freaking drop, and I don’t do the whole internet thing much. I’m not trying to be a "Jack off tard" [?] so drop it I don’t care what you this and yes I would actually like new people to play against I only got 3 public fields and 1 private and its always the same teams, BC, OA, TERPS, and VT. Then there are the ion groups the posting in the form is now way off topic and I have given up on it. I’ve lost all respect for this sight and am deleting my account.
