Im unshure how it makes a larger profile, if anything the drop im using shortens my gun up a bit , wich is more comfortable for me. I suppose the realy long ones might make you a couple inches taller, but if your tight into the bunker you shouldnt see much more than the gun and your hands regardless. If a 2 inch taller profile is getting you shot, your obviously not in tight enough to the bunker. I just fail to see , and im stting here with a gun with a cp flame drop on it, a big enough variation to warrant being stretched out over a tank like that. If anything it would be less comfortable and less condusive to walking a trigger. But oh wait, you "read" somewere your right, so your right.
I'lld realy like to see you prove this greatly increased profile you claim. Im failing to see through experimentation how it affects it that adversley? Of course I would also like to see you debate an issue with someone without resulting to vulgarity and personal insults, or be able to form a coherent sentence. The sentence is your friend, feel free to use them.

If you are using a drop, and are playing correctly, in most cases you will expose more of your arm while shooting, due to your tank being lower, and you having to come out furthur to get your barrel outside of you bunker.

if you put your tank where it should be it makes your gun taller turning your hopper into a parascope thats easy for me to snipe. it also puts your wrist at a wierd angle

Nice gun. Don't even listen to the 'drop' comments. They don't understand that its your gun and the only person it needs to be comfortable on is you.
Yes, a drop might make the overall setup taller, but his is also a forward, so the overall setup is shorter length. Plus, if he didn't have a drop, instead of getting shot in the tank, he'd probably just take a body hit.

3/10. not only because it has the drop but the reg would be so uncomfortable to hold. So I would give a stock e tech a 7/10 and yours four rating underneath it.
To the person above me, using a drop is probably one of the most un cool things you can have on your gun.

There are certain people who don't care about being cool, they just want maximum performance. This guy prefers the drop over having no drop, so that means that the drop is BETTER (because its HIS gun).
I don't use drops. I use a forward sometimes. I played with a friends gun that had a huge drop on it, and it felt pretty weird, but he was used to it .
After reading the whole thread, the thread starter is an ass and half the people in thread are asses, and its hilarious and sad that the dude is leaving. He takes the internet too seriously.
10/10 for making me laugh i guess.

personally, i like drops, but im not sticking up for this guy cuz he immediatly discredits anyones opinion who has less than seven years of experience, im pretty sure there are professionals who have less than seven years of experience.

You keep saying snipe, i keep laughing at you.
I like that "wierd angel", its how i learned to shoot many years ago. Personaly i roll my tank farther down on my shoulder, and always have. It negates the elbow issue(and yes i do understand that) with short drops, and ive never played differently. its also more comfortable because it rests into my arm and supports the tank. Personaly I wish there was a way to move the tank FORWARD without going down that wasnt so tacky looking as a long rail, but 1 or 2 inches of difference is negligable. Now the 6 inch forward 4-5 in down one i have from the days i was carrying a 114 tank is overkill but hey....
Im uninterested in wether someone thinks its "uncool" to have a drop. I can present you with the same profileusing the little one i have, and im more comfortable to boot. I can see were a long drop does some harm, and am in agreement those are not good, but leave those of us who like shorter markers bloody well alone, and stop the potbanging for the fad of the week.

Be sure to type things correctly while putting them in quotes, for 2ffu said nothing about angels...
