actually every gun out there has a unique feel and shoot differently. The end result is identical but the level of kick, smoothness of the cycle and a few other small things all make a gun what it is.

qft to the above. a matrix shoots nothing like an ego. the quality is the ame when you get that high in price, but nothing more. but you got the personal rpeference part right, barber prefers his ego's I prefer my matrices.

I personally think my Ego7 has been more reliable than any DM/PM I've owned. The ease of maintenance on Ego's is also outstanding.

Marix guns shoot smoother than egos, I always have liked the feel of a Matrix while shooting one. Ego's are nice too, just second to matrix's.
Ironmen DM's are very sexy guns...just the new DM8 is so increadibly sexy it will melt your heart....a little to much, but omg they shoot so nice.

the ironmen guns are the same as the regular dm, just ironmen milled on the side if I am not mistaken. now the STDM5 was a sexy lil beast. and matrixes are truthfully not that hard to maintenance, if you aren't a puss and don't mind taking off the back cap and lubing the bolt. and IDK what type of matrices you have owned kleivonen, but I have never seen a matrix with any type of problem before.

as nice as any new marker may be, they're absolutely not worth the money you pay for them. I have yet to get my hands ona dm8, in fact i've only held a pm6 and 05 ego as the highest end markers. the ego wasn't any better feeling than my bushmaster but the PM6 was like silk in my hands. Still, not wortht he money.

any matrix is nice, you could get them kinds cheap on ebay or the nation. (cheap meaning cheaper by like alot)
DM8'S as of now are soooo ****ing expensive, rather wait for a price drop or get a DM7 or 6. PM's are just as nice, if not a little worse.
Matrix guns are very easy to maintain. and shoot like nothing else out there.

I agreee. Highend markers like the Ego 8 of DM 8 are not WORTH THE MONEY. I've held/shot a number of high ends. 06 timmy, Proto 07, Ego 7, DM4, Quest, PM6, I could go on. I havn't gotten my hands on an 08 anything yet, but I'm not in a hurry. They havn't really improved in the last couple years. Paying in the thousands for a marker is crazy, its not going to shoot that much nicer than a $400 PM, Quest, or old Ego or DM.

Not going to get into the Poppet vs Spool debate.

pm6's are like 300 dollars, if not less. that is way more then the money. I want to get my hands on a droid, that is it for the 08 line.

To say that the new Egos and Matrices are not a step up from 05 and before is simply retarded.

Dm8s are crap, they took off the eye covers and now you have an ugly grip in front. Otherwise its the same gun as the DM6.

I find it funny that you bought an ego8 which is almost identical to your ego7, it just weighs a little more. Nontheless both are good guns and should be rated as such. 9.5/10

I got that for 100 less than I sold the black one for.

Timeline:

8:00 - Sold black one for 1100
8:05 - Made deal with guy and bought black/green for 1000

^ yep. I knew a guy who made over 200 a week doing this. He literally had atleast 3 different guns every time we played. (we played ever weekend then)

I have started trying this. I was up about 150 over all, but I was scammed out of my 05 ego a while back. So I guess I am -300.

I wish that I could Gun Whore. The most that I have evr done is constantly find trades and sales for my teammates. I myself am satisfied with my PMR and plan to keep it until it breaks beyond repair.
