i take pics with digital camera how do i make the size smaller like i can never post cuz it says somethin like file to large etc....help me out

wrong thread. but anyway get a picture modifieng program (photoshop most recommended) but you can even use microsoft paint

yes wrong forum and photoshop would be the best bet but unless you download it you are looking at spending $600. Just use microsoft paint and drag the picture from the bottom right to the top left as much as you want

Do it he cheap way. Go to download.com and find IrfanView. It doesn't have anything fancy like Photoshop would, but it will resize pics for you.

open picture up in paint

go to file > Save as> then type in the file name and where u want to save it to, then under where u type the file name, click the drop down menu and select JPEG

once u save it go to www.imageshack.us

Click browse and select ur picture that u saved as a JPEG file

Select HOST IT!

and it will upload ur pic for free and even write the vB code for you (should look like [img] a URL adress then [/img] )

Or post in Forum Tech support. Download the Microsft image resizing tool and use that. Set the custom field to 500X800 and you are good to go.
