Smell of Cigarette Smoke is in the mask.
Well my friend recently gave me his V-force Grill, and it's in pretty good condition. The only problem is, that it REEKS of Cigarettes.
I took it apart, but I was afraid of damaging the mask by using the wrong cleansers etc. to try and rid the smell.
Anyone have any solutions on how I could get rid of the smell, but not risk damaging the mask?

A new one?
I couldn't play in a mask that smelled like smoke...being A former smoker, no idea what you could use, hot soapy water soaked for a few weeks?

Hot water, soap, windex, lysol, etc
I never really smoked so never knew what it was like to have a mask that smelled like that
I dip sometimes but you really cant do that in a paintball mask and my mask is white so i wouldnt try to

I want to avoid replacing parts/mask.
My Mask is the white version of the Grill.
My main worry is just hurting the mask by using the wrong cleaning materials.

Baking soda does a great job of removing odors. I had my car flooded and threw tons of boxes all around for a few days. It worked pretty well.

Uhm - I think it's like really 'inside' the foam and the pieces.
Can anyone else confirm that once the lens are out, I can dunk it in a bucket of water with like shampoo for a few hours? - I'd hate to damage the adhesive holding the foam.

Okay - I just sprayed the mask with glade and hopefully it doesn't smell as bad. Then I'll put it next to some/sprinkle some baking soda on it.
The goggle part with the adhesive is removable. Would It be safe to dunk the rest of the mask in water?
