I bought my Dye I4 last May and wanted to know when I should replace the lens? I've only used them about 5 times since buying them and have been hit in the mask once. I know that typically you are supposed to replace them every year but is there an exception if you haven't used them much?

I'm not aware of any sort of schedule with replacing lenses. They should be replaced if they suffer damage as far as I know. For example any significant cracking is very bad.

I only replace mine if they crack or are scratched really bad

I replace mine at least every other year, otherwise whenever I can start to see scratches on them which means they're damaged. Can never be too careful, it's your eyes.

i usually get a new lens every tourney. which is about once every 3 months. a bit excessive, but then again, i don't care too well for my lenses
