I have a question about JT masks. I'm looking at two on Amazon, one is a " JT Spectra Proflex 8 Thermal Goggle System" and the other is a " JT ProFlex Paintball Mask". Both are approx the same price, so I'm wondering (if it can be determined from that description) which mask would have the largest goggles (priority one) for best peripheral vision, and then which would be the most flexible after that? Or, from my understanding of JT masks, would I be best in putting together a piece-meal mask?

I will likely have questions if you suggest piece-meal. I've tried on a few masks and discovered I really prefer large-windowed lenses that give me the most vision. Flexing is a strong second, but would take stiff if I had to. Furthermore, I'm not sure what I would be looking for on Amazon if I was to do it piece-meal. Thanks

They both use the exact same lenses.

I think the pro-flex is more flexable; It looks like the flex8 is one solid piece, as well

I could be wrong about the lenses. the proflex 8 looks like it may be that weird version that put out that uses different lenses. I wouldn't buy it for that reason alone.

They both use the same JT spectra lenses. The flex 8 face shielding is fairly flexible, however it is much tighter to the face then the proflex. So if you have a large face or jaw you may find the mask somewhat cramped. The flex 8 is a somewhat newer mask regarding when it was released, however it uses all the same parts as the proflex minus the slightly different face shield.

I prefer the pro flex in those terms. I own a flex 7 and owned a proflex. They are great maks but the lenses are a pain in the butt to change
