Dye Proto Switch.
I was wondering if the proto switch was any good. Is it comfortable?

It is a very good mask... it's becoming quite popular. I haven't worn one, but I would assume that with its popularity among players, it must be reasonably comfortable

It's the same as an invision. I love my profiler though, my brother has an invision, I'd reccomend the profiler over it any day.

proto masks are awsome, one of the most comfturble masks ive ever worn, and a great field of view. only thing bad about them is that thier pretty heavy compared to other masks, and a little big. it doesnt effect me becasue im not that tiny, but i can see how they would be bulky on someone whose little

i have one, it is not the same as the invision. i prefer the invision a little bit more. (wieght of the invision alows it to take the gold)
-The proto is by for the comfiest mask i mave ever worn, it has lots of really soft foam and beats the invision in this division.
-The weight is an issue, The proto is quite a bit heavier then the invision and though it doesnt seem like that big of a deal, once putting on the invision after words you will notice it.
-Ball breakage: the proto has a very soft rubber on the lower part of the mask (Jaw), which helps with ball breaks. I, however have not bin shot there yet and cant tell if it works or not, but i imagine it would work. The invision is hard all over and balls will break if hit in the mask (there are exeptions).
- looks: even though the proto looks pretty good, it hasa flaw, the jaw looks like it sticks out to far. it still looks good. But the invision defintly beats it in the looks catagory in my opinion.
-LENS: both lenses are exactly the same, though not as good as the profiler, they are both VERY clear and great fog resistors.
These are the main differances between the two. If i have left somthing out, PM me and ask a question, i will try my best to post what i know in here. thanks.

just to add to what you've said darren, i get hella bounces off the lower portion of my mask, but the balls dont bounce down into my neck like they can and ofton do on proflex's. the rubber feels too hard to get bounces, which is why i think alot of people dont believe me when i say i get them, but its true
