Lens color effects?
I am buying a thermal lens for my mask I hate it when my mask fogs up. I have not decided on the color yet.
the colors I have found are (I know there are more colors but those are the ones I found for the type of mask I have)
Amber
Chrome
Clear
Purple
Rose
Smoke
Yellow
are any of the colors better then the others in terms of spotting your opponent and stuff like that. So which colors are good choices and which are bad choices?

Well, I'd go with either smoke, or a mirror type lense, if it doesn't get to dark.

rose is definitely not for darker settings.. hence on the lense it says not for use in poor lighting conditions...
personally i dig my red lense alot. like it more then clear thats for sure. i cuts down glare big time and really makes it easier to see people in the woods...
yellow is really good for darker areas.. like heavy forested or when its not as light out... i had yellow sun glasses for biking in the evening.. makes things more noticably some how, i dont know the facts, but cant argue with experience...
the yellow makes you more noticable though.. things like smoke and rose are darker and arent as noticable.. so thats good...

well....i just use a faded lense. works fine for me. its clear at the bottom for when i need to see in low light, but its tinted at the top to get rid of the sun glare. FADE FOREVER! MAH!

i hade a "Blue prizim" on my proflex once and it sucked, it looked more like a yellow to purple to back to yellow fade, it always glared up, and when i was putting it in, i accidently made a huge scratch across the lense
go smoke, its awsome

I have the amber lens and you can see people a little bit better than with differnt coloured lenes. The lens makes all of the grass, trees, plants go a broght green colour and anything that is dark like a hopper on a gun you can see against the trees very easily.
EDIT:you can see anything darker than green very well

I like the look of smoke color. Would that be ok in low light conditions.
