clean thermal lens at feild
ok well I am leaving in like an hour so hurry.
ok a thermal lens when I get gogged it gets paint all over it I usuall wipe it off with my gloves or sleeve. Only problem is that only smears it and its not as clear. So is there anything I could take with me to clean it after I get gogged?

my field supplies all that junk....sprayers, blue paper towls, and soapy water (for whatever else, not for your mask).
try not to wipe with your sleeve or any other clothing, it WILL scratch up your lense.

you can, but i dont recommend it. chemical sprays have a way of weakening plastics. i know people that do and say they dont have a prob with it.

Ok heres the low down. 100% cotton shirt, Bring one to whipe the lens, it won't scratch it. use a water spray bottle or SPIT, spit is a natural anti-fog and is almost always availible

for a quick clean get gloves with a little squeegee on them... squegee mask, then wipe the excess off the sides with a towel or cotton shirt or something.

After you get CO2 filled, wipe a towel on it and wipe it away.

Window wipes work great for me, but I don't use them ever since I got a mirrored lense.

you shouldnt be getting water on the inside.....when you get gogged, its usually remains on the outside, therefore you should only be cleaning the outside.
wiping the inside usually will cause a fog. getting it wet on the inside will do it too (at least down here in texas it will). sweat on the inside is the worst. but if you do have to clean the inside, make sure it gets nice and dry.
