Personally I like thermal lenses since they don't fog, but it is all preference.Try some out if you can, but thermal lenses are usually pretty effective and getting the job done

if possible, get both, both work to prevent fogging, maybe if you had both it would work even better

It is more resistant to fogging than a single lens goggle.

all that a thermal lense is, is 2 lenses put together with a space in between so that... ummm... i dunno but they dont fog.

The thermal lenses are nice. The space between the two lenses act as a vacuum. Just like house windows, which prevent them from fogging.

fans are annoying

and the reason thermal lenz don't fog is b/c there is a layer of "neutral" air between the 2 surfaces making condensation harder to form

If i was you, i'd just buy a thermal lenz, that way you don't have to rely on the fan, and sometimes fans don't work

but if you live in a real humid place, i sugest buy both

Thermal lense is the answer to your question. The fans aren't really that loud, but they can get annoying. When it's raining they almost never work.

Just go with the thermal lense, i think fans are a waste of money, it just more weight to carry around on ur head.

They only weigh like an ounce. Thermal lenses are a much better buy still.
