Mask recommendation
Hi gang,
I'm a total newbie to paintball and just bought a custom 98. I need to get recommendations on a good economical mask. I like the SKUL model. Can anyone comment on those?
Also, is there a good way (product) to keep your mask from steaming up?

Yes, there is a mask forum
Id suggest a V-Force, but its mostly preferance. If you dont have lice go to your local feild and ask some of the players if u can try on their mask to see how comfortable it is and how well it breathes.

masks I like Jt's if you want to go cheap you could always buy a spectra just make sure its thermal that way it will reduce the amount of fog in it and it helps if you buy a no fog cloth to wich you could wip the insides down with that way it wont fog up

THe main ones are Proflexes, Profilers, and Invisions (DYE), it's basically preference, most likely, you would be satisfied with any three, but if you go out and try these on, you will find which one(s) you like the most.

profilers, proflexes, invisions, the new switches are becoming popular and to find what one is the best for YOU, you have to test them out.

Try the Raven NVX. It's $40.00 at most websites.

invisions are really good the cover ur ears completely and u get a huge range of vision my only complaint about mine is that if i get hit in the mouth area the paint comes through and into my mouth sometimes but that rarely happens

Thanks guys. I'm relatively new to these forums and only recognized after my original post that there IS indeed a mask forum. Thanks all for your recommendations.

your welcome....you may also notice there is a forum specifically for almost anything, guns, barrels, paint, stories, ....and if none of those work, there is always the lounge.
