No they suck. even reviews of these say they fog and your guaranteed to have a bust if it hits the top. Usually if u get hit in the head the ball wont bust at least for me. if the top was made out of flexible material then maybe theyd work but they are ghey. get a V-force or another Jt mask.

u ever tried it? then please be quiet. anyway I think its nice I own it and it doesnt fog unless u sweat realllllly bad im getting a thermal lense for mine though anyway I like it

ehh i think there very ugly and they wont bounce balls off the top of your head.. it doesnt hurt at all gettin hit in the head so there is no need for the whole mask thing.. a lot of pepole will just make fun of you if you get one so i suggest you dont if you dont wanna get made fun of.. im not syaing i would but a kid at my feild has one and he gets ripped on all the time.. so i would just go wiht a regular mask..

they're ok...depends what type of play you use 'em for. I love it for woodsball..... I like to get down and dirty and one of the first times i played I was crawling through a thick bush and my head was alll scraped up from the branches ....my smart @$$ was semi bald and had no hat..

went out the next day got me a headshield ...did a sweet camo job now I'm content with crawling through just about anything...

Once again its about your preference.... stock lens isn't too good get thermal lens, its way better. get thermal and a fan and its clear skies from there.

it looks really dumb... I tried one on yesterday, and they are really uncomfortable. if you are THAT afraid of getting hit in the head, then I could understand why you would buy these. BUT- try them first. I just wear a beanie and my ProFlex's which looks mad sweet, and it really doesn't hurt that much to get hit in the head ANYWAYS. Really. Yesterday I was reffing, and I got hit in the head from 20 ft, with no hat on- wow. No big deal, really- it's just a hit in the head. boo hoo.

i have this mask right now. It has fogged up a little tiny bit and to fix that buy some themal lenses. And it dont look ugly. o yah and it came with some flame stickers it was cool

we have one that we let people use and i hate it its uncomfortable and it doesnt always fit right also it is easier to have a ball break on your head just a get normal mask and wear a hat of some sort..

I love my Raven NVX mask, just got thermal lenses for it last week wOOt! My Wife uses a headshield but it holds heat in pretty bad so we ripped the headshield off of it and now its just a plain old JT Elite. Much cooler now.

I bought one today, because mine hasnt come in yet. it was the cheapest one they had, so i bought it. I cant complain about it at all. It made me sweat alot, but in the texas heat, sweat is inevitable. Also, about growing your hair out, sometimes thats not possible. Military members cant grow ther hair out. And if your gonna walk around calling ppl ghey(gay) because of what their mask looks like, then you should keep your ass in middle school. Thats just my $.02 though......

Try it out for yourself and see how it fits. Not all heads are of the same shape or size, so what fits badly on someone may fit well for you.

Tried one yesterday and it worked great for me. Here are my impressions.

1. Felt no different than any other light, shell helmet I've worn; bicycle, mountain climbing, construction, almost like a lighter version of a military helmet, but with face protection.

2. As far as heat goes, it felt no different than if I had my regualr cap on. Especially since it was cold yesterday, so it didn't bother me any at all. If it gets to be REALLY hot, then take the top off and you have a regualr mask.

Most people here seem to stuck on the Headshield being ugly. Don't worry about what they say. A save from that one hit in the head that gives you a headache for the rest of the day makes it all worth it. And like DCz_98TA said, they probably need to get a life, and you can worry about improving your game while they worry about posing.

I don't know about you, but I DO worry a little about getting hit simply cos I don't believe suffering pain for no good reason.

I agree with DCz_98TA again by saying that growing one's hair out is not always an option. This applies not only to military or law-encorcement personnel, but also for many professionals who work in industry/business.
