Hey KC ballers, I've got what might be a stupid question. People who have or had at one time a remote tank setup are who I'm looking to ask.

I've got a junk VL Triton paintball gun. I've done some work on the trigger to make it have a shorter and lighter pull. I'm looking for a cheap barrel that is at least 12" long, too. I'm also wanting to put an expansion chamber on it, but it doesn't have an ASA on the body. It has a weird left hand threaded line going into the body. All the X chambers I've seen are ASA threaded and o-ringed.
I did find on a certain online auction site an X chamber that mounts inline with 1/8" NPT fittings. I was thinking I might be able to use a remote line and tank setup and mount the X chamber inline before the gun's ASA on the bottom of the grip. Problem is, I don't know if remote lines use 1/8" NPT fittings.

And please don't flame me. I can spend small amounts of money over an extended period of time without the old lady going bonkers. I CAN'T buy a new gun right now. I'll have to save for at least a couple months to get a new gun. In the meantime, I would like to make this gun more user friendly and fun to use. I will probably keep this gun for a long time, even if I get a new one.

Thanks in advance for any helpful insights you might be able to offer.

Bro I would just save it towards a new gun.. Believe me, those parts won't even help a POS Viewloader Gun anyways. I'm selling a Tippmann if you're interested.. 80 bucks if you come pick it up in Olathe.

Bushman - Sounds good man!

No thanks, 1337. I don't really want a Tippmann.

BTW, I can get an inline x-chamber for $5 and a remote line for $3.50.

If memory serves me, most remote lines do use 1/8th NPT fittings. I ran a remote for most of the early to mid 90's. Take your remote to the hardware store and see if one of the fittings will fit it.
