Hey, i was wondering of anybody here ever came to Combat Paintballs DDay? Just wondering if you ever been there. Its a blast if you agree with me give a holla, unless there is no one that see this thats been there than dont holla!

No i want to go next year though. I think they have the next one on the 22nd of April or somethin' like that. Looks awesome.

I think the first scenerio is in april, i dont think its DDAY though. The first one i thought was like the special movie one (We've done Tomb Raider and Indiana Jones so far)

Yeah for those of you who dont know i'll lay it out for you. Combat paintball owns a huge junkyard that used to be a gravil pit. We have been playing there for 5 or so years now so there isnt that many safety hazards. CCmilitary comes out and sets up a proshop and we have paint for sale, last year we gave away around 30 cases right at the beggining and we had 130 players or so so you had a 1 in like 4 chance to win a free case of paint. It starts friday night for paintballers. We have a ton of mortor fireworks (over a hundred, i had to untie all teh fuses) and a ton of red parachutes. Throw in some fog and spot lights and its awesome. The red parachutes light up the whole junkyard with an eerie red glow. Anyways teh americans start at one end of the junkyard, and at the other end is a huge cliff that is around 50 ft high in some places. The americans have to take the cliff (which varies in size, from steep to a minor slope) in 3 hours i beleive, then tehy switch sides. We had a camera out there recording it (a pro guy) and we taped a few speedball events (if anyone is interested in teh video pm me) ANyways there is then a camping area for those of you who want to. The germans have their own base wiht paint, CA, and CO2. Its automatic reinsertion. Once the americans take the reinsertions point they win the round and switch sides. My team was the only to hold the hill for 3 hours. Its so intense. In 3 hours i shot my hopper and 11 pods, and i was being conservative. There is so many people to shoot at. THere were guys that played the whole weekend and shot 10 or 12 cases. Then that night and the next day we do airsoft.

Watch out though the reffing by evolkers is horrible. lol the reffing as a whole is pretty good.

Its a blast, worth driving for. Staying overnight and camping is fun.

I would go if I had 500 dollars to waste on paint for a scenario.

I was shooting a Wrath LTD there last year, I only went through 5 cases. . . lol wait thats not what you where looking for. My dad only went through a little less than 2 cases. Paint is sold for $40 there so its not horrible priced at all. There is also expensive paint there just in case you want the better stuff.

Registation is how much volker? $25 pre and $50 on-site i think. Not bad at all.

It's going to be held in August, I'm not sure if the exact date's are set yet but it'll be a friday night/saturday event. Airsoft is Saturday night/sunday event.

The location is Near Clear Lake Wisconsin. Its a small town about an hour away from St. Paul. It's hard to discrbe but it's only a little ways off from I-94. For exact directions, look up Combat Paintball on pbreview.

Hm, yeah something like that. Plus they give away 20 or 30 cases of paint at the beggining, and have ccmilitary surplus out there with there transportable store. Even though alot of their stuff is scenerio its great to have them out there.

Paint is Rec sport: $42
Blaze: $48
Hellfire: like $55 or something

Im not sure on these all at this time. At oen point i will post a huge detailed post of this, in which i will pry edit my first post. So when the time comes i will give you all the info you need. Clear Lake is about 25 min from New richmond, 45 from hudson, 45 from stillwater, hour twenty or so from teh cities, etc. Its a small town but its a good time.

And yeah, i only played the last battle (in which my team was the only one to hold the hill for the entire 3 hour time frame) and i shot my whole pod pack (9 pods) and my hopper, and another guys pod or 2, tottaly gone in 3 hours. THere are plenty of targets and the action is very, very intense.

Wrong Wrong Wrong. The very first round, when I was one of the 5 German Generals, we held the hill. The entire time.

wtf, there wasnt even generals, let me geuss, you self appointed yourself. lol no, the very 1st round, the "practice round" what ever that means. lol Also Jared decided to make some ganerals for the heck of it. I don't even think you were there it. It was early the first day in the light so people could get used to the area before it got dark, and it was only like an hour long, but still.

O, i see, practice rounds count now. Oh well, i probably had something going on, or someone to tend to. Actaully i beleive i had soccer in a far away place, like hayword or something. I still got there for the night part, and then i had to friggn untie all those fireworks.... Remember Jared? Germans to teh right, Americans to the right.... Wiat no no, thats not right... lol, one of the funniest things of the night. Either that or when i went around with my flashlight shining it into my freinds eyes and asking if they were on crack.
