oh i'm not intersted int he prizes, I just want to play for the first time in what feels like forever. Howevre at $37 each for the 3 man buy-in I think I'll opt out and go for the rec play. I've VERY rusty.
It was a toasty 90 degrees and I had a great time playing rec ball. The tourney went pretty well also form what I saw. I hooked up with two guys who are down a teammate for the next few months and we're gonna do some 3 man stuff during that time, so I'm excited.
I did learn however, that I'm am so out of shape that it's not funny. Time to go out running and springing to get in shape; I've got two weeks to do it before tourney time.
I'm very motivated to get my T2 trayless trigger frame on my shocktech bushmaster body so I can go melt faces with it. Now that i've got air in a tank with me, I can test is for leaks and things; i'm super pumped.
Also, Autockers are amazing, nuff said. I let my friend play with my promaster for most of the day while I used my 'cocker and i loved every second of it; she also enjoyed my promaster...maybe a bit too much
I'm TOTALLY a snake guy. i'm fast, I'm 5'6 and I LOVE it. I'll play back also though, cuz I'm good at yelling. I'm not a very good mid player, too many things to keep track of/shoot at. I get myself in trouble by moving up too fast though.
Currently i'm using my promaster, but once i get my bushmaster up and running I'm gonna pwn noobs oldschool-like.

Damn dude, he's playing some local paintball events, not training for an MMA fight.
Just be in good general condition and you'll be fine. I've played with some terribly out of shape people and they were alright I suppose.
I just need to build up stamina. I figure running and sucides for a week and a half should do it. Today was a big reality check; i just can't keep up with the teens anymore like I used to, I gotta actually work at it.
Also i need to get a fiber tank hydro'd so i don't lug around my steel tank; that was a big factor.
