What to Buy

I am new to paintball looking to get some gear so I can get in on my future in-laws home games, They have like 5 wooded acres and about 10 players. most of them use spyders. I pretty much narrowed it down to the tippmann A-5 cause of price, performance and reviews I have seen. Tippmann sells a powerpack/ A-5 plus 12oz Co2+ scott goggles& mask plus squegee alllan tools and hopper for 270$, what do you guys thinK? Also want to run remote coil to help with straight gas pickup.from the start I dont want to spend over 300$ may pick up a J&J ceramic 12 inch some point down the line. Having said all that do you guys think that is a decent set up for a rec ball player? is it a better idea to get a 20oz tank or two 9oz tanks?

i say keep a 12 oz tank and get a 20 oz tank...make the 12 oz ur backup

A-5 is a great gun imo, my buddy's got one, i got a 98 custom

the first upgrade you should get is a barrel though...the stock is unbelievably horrible i recomend a teardrop or a jj ceramic....no more than 14 in.

after that get a drop forward (to shorten the length of the tippy) believe me, it will help

then get a new hopper....eggs are good

get an e-grip too...when you get the chance, (make sure u get that after the hopper)

thats all i can think of now but yeah...that should be good

o and make sure your goggles are thermal...if not, get thermal ones that dont fog up

and read this All new player info can be found here.

sounds like a pretty sweet deal.
ide get a remote cause they're so damn cool.

and i would take a 14oz tank, cause they're not too big and not too small.
