2 Finger Trigger
You know how you're supposed to alternate between both fingers on a trigger to shoot faster? Does anybody not follow this rule? I'm a drummer, so I'm pretty coordinated with it, but electric triggers are different from mechanical triggers, I hear.

Its called walking and no you dont have to do this but you shoot much faster if you do like if you are playing speedball you want to be able to walk your trigger but you can consentrate on making a good shot if you see a guy in the open. Really you just swtich off but you want to be able to walk. Electric guns are easier to walk but you can make a gun like the tippmann 98 walkable with a few modifications.

I play bass and drums. Drums since 5th grade, bass, since eighth, but bass is pretty easy so i'm good at both. I'm a freshman in high school now.

There are other methods as well besides just walking a trigger. if the trigger has a hump in the middle, you can "fan" it. Which is when you take one finger, and move it up and down along the trigger with a little pressure applied. I have noticed that sometimes, i can get a little bit faster using that method opposed to walking, but its not as accurate, because most of the time, the gun will start to move around a little bit. or you could just use one finger and shoot slowly which is wat I do. i like to conserve my paint:-D

you can
index+middle walk(normal walking)
index+ring walk (what i use for left hand shooting on a electro tho i use a cocker)
Fanning
Sliding up and down on the groove
er i think thats about it in terms of trying to get speed on the gun. It's basically like rhytem bass playing where you just alt. your two fingers of choice together while wasting as little energy as possible. Imagine a 16:4 rythem on the e string of a 4 string bass, don't really have time to be wasting beat counts with extra finger movement, so whatever is the most efficent to you while hitting that speed. er hope i made sense

What LuckXIII is trying to say is that if you alternate fingers rather than use both fingers at the same time you will shoot alot faster...And I dont walk...I run. Mechanical guns you should do both fingers at the same time unless your trigger is close enough for you to walk it...but on any mech gun i use 1 finger or both at the same time....Hope that helps...
