New to both the sport and this forum.
Yo, I'm zell, and I'm new to both the sport and the forum. I bought a gun via Overstock.com , and right now it's doing great.
It's called the Cottonmouth.
-Blue
-Aluminum alloy frame
-Double Finger Trigger
-Stock 12-inch barrel
-Vertical Regulator
-Rubber grip
-Semi-Auto
-425 max FPS (I have it on 300 right now, though)
-Price: $70 plus $1 shipping (Overstock.com had a $1 shipping promo on everything in March)

Hey welcome to the forums. I've never heard of a cottonmouth. Some info for around here would be to read the stickys and post in the right forums if you dont want people getting mad at you. Have fun.

welcome to the great sport of paintball!
looks like a spyder clone. As long as you take good care of it(head to the stacked tube blow back forum) it will be a great gun for you to start with.
Also, youll want to buy a barrel bag(also called a barrel condom) to replace the barrel plug you have right now. Most fields will require a barrel condom because barrel plugs can become dangerous projectiles if the marker is fired by accident while they are in.

hi!...that looks like a spyder clone, yeah. If you are looking for more information about your marker, or want some upgrades, it will probably take the same that a spyder does. look on the manufacturer's website or call them for some more information.
read the stickies in the "kingman/spyder" section for more information. you will also need a hopper, co2 tank, and mask to play. I suggest you go to www.xpaintball.biz and look for these things to buy, or just to go to your local pro shop! Don't be afraid to ask questions but use the search button in case anyone has posted the same question as you.

I'm new to the sport, but that doesn't mean I'm COMPLETELY stupid. :P
I already have a 20oz CO2 tank, JT goggles, and a 200rd non-electric hopper. |

Yeah, another medic to piss everyone off.
Except I'm not the normal medic, no, I'm not. I'm the kind of medic where, if you come to me, I'll inject you with 5 tubes of morphine then make you go fight on the battlefield again. Every problem can be solved with just 5 inexpensive tubes of morphine!

Bah. It's named after the Cottonmouth viper, which takes refuge in Kentucky, Northern Tennessee, and Southern Ohio. I live in South-Western Kentucky, so yeah, thought it would be cool to have a PB marker named after a viper.

why didnt you just buy a real spyder? most guns that have never been heard of have no warrenty so your on your own to fix it.
