Asa and c/a

are they the same thing at alll. the the c/a is were u put the tank into and i thot that was what the asa was but know i dont know what the asa is. Im confused Could someone help.

omg. its the middle of school and you havrent got a response in 10 minutes? the entire forum must be dying!
the asa is were the regulator screws in and were your tank screws in.

No. Not the same, but similar.

C/A means "Constant Air". If you gun has C/A, then it has the ability to take a large CO2/HPA tank.

ASA means "Air Source Adapter". ASA is what the adapter is called that tanks with threads SCREW IN TO. Or, the thing the regulator screws in to.

If you gun has a rail, then technically is has no ASA, but does have C/A.

Likewise, if you gun could have multiple ASAs. Most guns have a vert AND bottomline ASA, but would not be considered multiple C/A.
