Its supposed to do that..haha...do you even know what a saladtosser is? Its not a very good thing to be calling yourself...Back to the subject- Yeah the gun is just depressurizing itself so their is not more Co2 left in the gun..it makes a loud PFFF sound...but if u get Compressed air it doesnt do that...

I know it does..but im saying it stops itself..if u half unscrew a co2 tank it keeps leaking and compressed air..(atleast mine does) it stops after like a second..

Alright...
You unscrew the tank a little over one turn. Then you fire, without paint a few times, usually around 5 or 6. Either the marker will make the out-of-gas 'burping' noise, or it won't. If it doesn't, unscrew the tank another turn or so and try shooting some more.
Once the gun burps, it has run out of air and the ASA won't spray/hiss at you when you take the tank off.
You'll get better at knowing how many turns you need after doing it a few times.

Really the worst it can do it break the tank's O-ring...setting you back a few cents to buy a new one. It can be pretty loud though.

The little plastic/rubber ring near the top of the valve.
If it's broke it will more than likely be missing or not round anymore.
They're cheap though, so it won't be a problem

^ yeah and sometimes they will turn bright white..and that just means they were fried..and they will go back to normal color in a little bit..unless you broke it

what gun is it, you might not have to do the turn and shoot to degas it, just take it off and its good, the air might come out the bottom of the unimount.
