Sorry in advance for the newb question

Ive read about the forums that people have different markers for different types of games (Speedsball/Woodsball/Etc.) Whats the difference and why would you need a different marker?

speedball= speed+lightness
woodsball=stealth+ not as fast

if you want to play both get one thats better for speedball, it will work just as good in the woods.

If you would get a gun for speedball...It will preform the same...in everything^ as what Fubar2 said...

the only real difference between a speedball and woodsball gun is if the woodsballer is into the whole war theme thing(scopes, stocks, ect). Other then that there might be marginal differences but nothing to base a buying decision on.

My only thing is you dont want an electronic marker if you play in woods with puddles, ditches, etc. where you could drop it into the water. May damage it if it gets too wet.

Just been reading through the forums and I came across a picture of this guy who had a scope where the hopper should be. Dosent sound ideal?

Electro marker is alright for woods, I hav'nt had a problem dropping mine in any puddles and such ,just don't jump in them!
