I've been told conflicting reports, some people say get a mechanical first, and some say get electric so you dont have to pay upgrade cost later, I was wondering what I should do. Thanks in advance,

either go with a tippman 98 custom or some type of spyder, depends on what you play.

BTW, any gun you get, you WILL upgrade it someway

dont get an ion for a first gun, what if you end up not wanting to play pb (dont think it possible tho)

I would go with the ION if you can afford it. If not go with a spyder or tippmann.

ifi were u i wouldnt get the ion. its nicer to just get a simple easy gun like a spyder or tippy. if ur gonna do mainly woods ball get a tippy 98c, and if ur gonna do mainly speedball get like a spyder imagine or somthing. they r both good starter guns, and will work well for u.

Ion's are mid end guns, not high end Now as for adjusting the trigger check the Blowback forum, theres a mod sticky there.

Make a thread...In the kingman section of PBF

And i think it should be mechanical first..then get an electro triggerframe because you could move on up to a higher end marker in the future...Just a thought..

An eletric will just mean you can fire more paint. If your new to the sport go for a mech as you dont have to upgrade to an e-gun.

I love my ion but i dont think its the best starter gun. I think a 98c or an A-5 is the best starter gun.
