Good deal?
Well, I have played paintball a total of 3 times, all time I rented a Tippman 98 custom. The gun seems very solid and stable, but a bit innacurate and a bit too slow in shooting. Could you guys suggest another gun under $150 or so with better accuracy and ROF than the Tippman? I don't really need to get serious with paintball, I just play with my friends. Also, is a SPYDER Imagine digital gun for $140 a good deal, and is it a good "newb" gun that is durable and easy to maintain?.
Thanks for your time!

Any E-Spyder. www.kingman.com Pretty good deal for an Imagine, their not condisered noob guns. Heck, I use on 24/7. Their a bit crappy stock, but if you put some money, time, and work into them...they can be some pretty good guns.

The Imagine is a great beginner gun. The only thing that will help with accuracy is a barrel.

So just upgrade the stock barrel and it will be more accurate? If this is so, could you reccomend a good, accurate barrel?
Also, is the price listed above a good deal for a Imagine with a CO2 tank, a hopper, a mask, and 3 pods?

Or if you plan on keeping this gun for a while, go for a 2 piece barrel. The Freak Jr. or Dye Boomstick (or was it Ultralight?) are great 2 piece barrels.

Eh, it's not an okay mask, something typical of that of a package... but if you can, get a new mask ASAP. That it's a bad packaged deal though.

But do they come with a CO2 tank, a mask, a hopper, and 3 pods?
If so, please give a link!

Can't give links except to www.xpaintball.com, because they are the ones that sponsor this forum. Just sell that mask and buy a better one, or get a new lense, also, you need to list..
Brand of pods.
Size of Co2 Tank
Type Of Hopper
Pod holders?

Since it's a packaged deal, they pods are probably going to be 32* cheapo ones, or something along those lines. The hopper will probably be a Java standard 200 gravity fed. Just guessing though.

An Empire Reloader or a Revy would do just fine on an Imagine and most E-Spyders. If you do get a nice hopper, make sure you buy a good strong metal feedneck, those plastic ones tend to break and drop your hopper.

I have a question about the vertical feed system, since I have only used Tippman 98's I am not used to the hopper obstructiong my view very much. Is aiming easy with a vertical feed system?

Soon you'll get used to aiming down your barrel rathering than depending on a sight rail. It's very easy to adjust to and I find it more accurate for me. Just play a couple games and shoot a bit, it'll come to you.

Just a quick question, what is a good/cheap mask that wont fog up? Also, what kind of gauge should I get with my Imagine, a 300 600 1200 or 5000 psi?
