When I first starting playing I was wicked scared to get hit... and for the first fews times it did hurt when I got hit. Now I just feel a little sting and the hurtin' is gone. You'll get used to it, so don't worry.

I actually shot my self in the leg. I first started, had a brass eagle samurai and was like hmmmmmmmm I wonder what it FEELS LIKE TO GET SHOT? Pointed at my leg, pulled trigger, ouch, sting, ok i'm better

I remember when I first played. I was scared to death of getting shot. But I got into the game, got hit, realized the adrenaline cancelled out the pain, and moved on. But yes, you're normal for being a little scared of being shot.

basically, unless it welts, its just like a quick, stinging pain that lasts at most like 5 seconds, then its gone.

yeah ive been hit while sitting on the sidelines and it blows, cuz the gun was hot, so it was a double whammy...hot gun + no adrenaline=ouchy

yeah i was a little...anxious i guess about what the first hit would feel like...i got shot like 9 times that day that didnt break, it sucked, but i got over it in a minute :P

ya i was kinda nervous the first time i went but it doesnt hurt that bad it only stings for a few seconds!! the only time it stings for a few minutes is when you get bunkered lol

I think the way you react on your first hit dictates how you feel for the rest of your paintballing days.

I got hit unawares and I was like "Oh, thats all?"

I dont mind getting it at all. I think its mostly physcological.
