I Want A Pistol!
I went to the army store and met a guy who sounded like he really knew about paintballing. He showed me the A5 which was outta my price range and then he showed me this pistol.....O>O I fell in love with it but I don't know if it's well worth the $$$$. I think it was an Ariakon Pistol for $120.00. Im not really good at this but is this a reasonable price for it?? It has all these features that made it look better and even better for a side arm. What do you guys think?

You can buy a semi-auto marker for $80 or so. I'd go with that.

yeahg. pistols are really only used in senarios and woodsball "tournies" as a side arm. some of the erally good guys use them as thier main gun, but only if they plan on barely shooting.

I already have an arsenal of my own but want a secondary firearm and just because it looks
Anyway's if you're wondering where I got my spyder from I bought it from GOODWILL for I think $2,903.00. The guy behind the counter said "that's a steal man!", so apparently I believed him. And they also included a 9oz tank with 50 free paintballs!!!! OMG im so lucky!!!!! Oh yeah and Wal-Mart................... their paintball products aren't as nice as GOODWILL's so there.

That is why i came to paintballforum.com to drop in a few noob questions and this dude just flamed on noobs like me.
Oh yeah and BTW wal-mart is pathetic (only when it comes to big boys ****) and goodwill well, I havn't been there for - never gone there.

Ok, to stop all the pistol hate, lets see if I can jam some sense into your heads.
Basically pistols have limited use in the paintball world. If you’re a scenario baller, pistols are a good idea, simply because you’re out in the field for long periods of time and you’re never sure when you’ll run out of air or paint. Those extra 10-12 shots could mean the world.
As for pistols, why splurge on them? They all perform the same. The PT series is good, but heavy. The Delta pistols are fancy PT’s. The Ariakon pistols are the same as the Delta 68’s.
PMI just released a new pistol that is around $70, and offers the same performance, with a lighter design, for less money!
