Another barrel question
Lets say I wanted to upgrade my Spyder Xtra, which I don't know if it's an autococker or not (Does anybody know), and I wanted to upgrade my barrel. Is it ok if I chose from the "autococker" section? What's "automag?" Is that a brand of aftermarket barrels or something. If so, is it ok to choose a barrel from that section too? I was looking at the Stiffi Carbon Fiber Barrel and don't know if that's the right choice because I want a barrel that can later be removed onto a higher end gun like lets say.....an A5 tippmann. Any help plz.

If you have a Spyder Xtra, you need to get a barrel with Spyder threads. A Barrel with autococker threads (or any other thread) will not work unless you buy an adaptor (some companies make them, but I would stick to the proper barrel for the marker I have). An Automag is another type of paintball marker, so is an autococker...typically each maufacturer uses a specific thread pattern for their markers, but some use the same threads as another company. The best thing would be to take your marker to a local store (if you have one) and try different barrels to see which one you like best, or ask people at your local field (again, if you have one) and see the performance for yourself. You can PM me if you have more questions.

Those are all the barrels to choose from. Each one on that page is Spyder threaded so It will deffinatley fit your marker. Try a Teardrop or Progressive

how do you know which barrel will give you the most accuracy? The more $$ the better im guessing. And another thing. Which markers can only be equipped by autococker barrles?

Accuracy depends on how your paint matches your barrel. A good fit will match will make your shots more accurate. Air consistancy and velocity also play a factor.

Almost every highend gun but SP guns and WDP guns use autococker threading.

Teardrop, J&J or Progressive. Or if you have money, get something more expensive like a Dye ultralight, or Dye boomstick or just buy a kit.

For a Spyder, a CP 1 Piece is ideal.

Kits are too expensive. I'd like something that would be an all-around one use only.. If that makes any sense at all.
