Whoa slow down there, save the 1200 for a high end gun later, first get a lower end gun. High end guns require a lot of maintenance

do what im doing and get a spyder imagine and 20oz tank. Im doing it cuz im new and cuz im low on cash, but in your case, your new and got lots of money, so youll have like 700 or 800$ left over for paint and field fees.

nostalgia has a point if ur a noob start with a noob gun and a sypder is perfect because u dont want to go and spend all your money on the gun than u wont have any left to go paintballing.

dont get a high pressure. don't listen to the guy who said lets save for the 1200 high end gun, ions are cool for begginers. don't listen to the guy who said get a dm4 or 5, thats just stupid. after you get ur nitro tank u may be broke, but nitro is cheaper than c02 at my field, probably at urs too.

you gotta ask yourself how much you want to spend, and also how much you are going to play.

if the answer to the first is not a whole lot, and the answer to the second is maybe once or twice a month...

I would suggest a spyder or something like an ICONE for a first gun... a 20oz CO2 bottle, and a revolution hopper. for a mask find a cheap JT mask or something that has a thermal lens (you can tell a thermal, it is two lenses with a thin strip of foam or something along the outside edges).

thats what I started with and it is great to learn on and easy to take care of.
dont drop more than 300$ on something you dont know you'll really enjoy.

I'd just get an ION and buy some nice gear. Get a halo, nice tank/mask/pants/ etc.

Get to be decent at the game then sell the ion, keep the gear, and upgrade your gun.

What I did was I bought a matrix but wore black JNCO Jeans and a Brass Eagle Jersey, but I had an egg and the best tank ever which I miss.

All in all I had a nice setup, but crappy gear. I always got made fun of at the field but I was good enough to own whoever made fun of me.
