Can some one define me stepped bore or what it does...? Thanks

stepped bore is when the back of the barrel is of a smaller diameter then the front part of the barrel(the back fits the paint more exactly while the front is huge enough to allow any paint through). According to most a stepped bore barrel is superior to one that has a consistent diameter.
