not so newb-like, but still pretty curious
my last post quaitly entittled "so noobish its jaw drooping" was quite effect tive you guys helped me out with and astounding 25 questions ! And i do belive i owe some ppl dinner ( inside joke, read the post to figure it out).
im so noobish its jaw-droping
but now, time and my natural wanting to know things has brought about more questions
1. what is bunkering, i think its like laying down some suppresive fire
2. in tounements mostly electric markers are used but players must not use the full-auto and burst functions right?
3.does a chopped ball ruin electronic internals?
4. in airsoft hop-up is used ( the technieque of putting top spin on the bb enabling it to stay in a strait path of flight longer) why isent this used in paintball
5. is it really worth it going through the hassle of going out and perchasing you own chrono?
6. does a longer barrel improve accuracy and disstance?
7.what are some other usefull things that you can bring with you to a game other than, marker, hopper, paint, and tank
8. what are some ways to lower the profile of your hopper, i hear that the Imagine makes them sit high.
ok thats it for now, stressing on the words "for now" and thank you for any help

. what is bunkering, i think its like laying down some suppresive fire its when you come around and get someone close up from like 2 feet away
2. in tounements mostly electric markers are used but players must not use the full-auto and burst functions right? i believe u can use full auto if it is capped at 15 balls per second, burst, i dunno
3.does a chopped ball ruin electronic internals? no, normally the chamber of a gun doesnt have eltronics inside
4. in airsoft hop-up is used ( the technieque of putting top spin on the bb enabling it to stay in a strait path of flight longer) why isent this used in paintball becuz paintball guns work much differantly
5. is it really worth it going through the hassle of going out and perchasing you own chrono? no unless u want ur own field
6. does a longer barrel improve accuracy and disstance? not after 14 inches
7.what are some other usefull things that you can bring with you to a game other than, marker, hopper, paint, and tank ummm pods mask, rag, squeegie, battle swab, knee pads
8. what are some ways to lower the profile of your hopper, i hear that the Imagine makes them sit high. get a low-rise feedneck

1. Running up and marking someone at near point blank range.
2. Most tourneys use straight semi auto, but some have cheater boards that make their gun ramp, shoot faster then theyre pulling. Some other tourneys havea 15bps cap, with ramping allowed.
3.Sure doesnt, jsut gunks up your barrel and makes your shots curve. Squegee it out and you'll be fine.
4. Its used in flatline barrels, but traditional straight barrels are accurate enough.
5. Not needed at all. Fields have them.
6. Not really. Anything above 12 inches should be adequate.
7.lol its a looooong list. ill make it later
8. a new feedneck

If you play at a field, no you won't need or even want to get a chronograph. If you only play outside of a field, suck it up and buy a used handheld for cheap. Without you'll have no way to know how fast everyone is shooting.

this isnt used in paintball, because to put a spin on a paintball would be pointless... a paintball is large and round.. not so aerodynamic in the first place.. you put a spin on something like an airsoft bb, and yes it'll fly straighter and longer because the ENTIRE thing is spinning at the same speed.. with a paintball you have the fill inside, and the outer shell which in a lot of cases will spin at different speeds deeming the spin on a paintball ineffective, and therefore, for the most part useless unless you can get it all spinning good...
