what lube?
With the wide range of lubricants out there, what's best? My background is mostly high powered rifles. I have done quite a bit of gunsmithing in the past and therefore understand the importance of using the right tool for the task. Where most gun oils are designed for high heat, pressure, and a long list of corrosives, most of these elements are missing from a paintball marker. Also, the fundamental building blocks of the marker are totaly different(aluminum and plastics instead of steel and wood). So, what do ya'll think?
thanks

There is paintball specific lubriacation manufactured by a few companies.
You can find it online or at your proshop.

With a low end blowback you can get by on hoppes (sp) which I'm sure you know of with a backround in firearms. When I first started playing outlawball thats all we ever used on our spyders. As far as viscocity goes its pretty close to the pmi oil I use. I never had a problem using it on our spyders, but if it will cause problems then someone please enlighten me. Im curious.

You don't need to lube delrin. Just o-rings.

for regulators and higher-end guns you should usaully use a grease like dow 33, dow 55, or slick honey. For blowback guns, cockers, and some other misc guns you should use oil like gold cup lube. It all depends on the gun and what part of that gun your using(ie: with an ego you lube the bolt's o-rings and the rammer with gold cup but the regs with dow33).
