is the co2 comin out of your gun or your tank???? i am a little lost here. and sometimes if you are really low on co2 then it will begin to leak when you screw your tank into your gun.

Thats not a lot of CO2. Aim your gun straight up in the air, and hold it there for two or three seconds. What your doing is letting the liquid CO2 settle to teh bottom of the tank. Then you can unscrewthe tank normally, while the gun is still pointed up.

Teh fizz of air you hear isnt a lot of air. Think of how loud and how hard a paintball comes out. The air that comes out fo the tank when you unscrew it is a kitten fart compared to what you shoot. Its air comign form the gun, not from the tank.

See, the tank shuts off after just a few twists. It still has a seal around it thanks to the O-ring due to the way they threads are designed. Once you get past that point, air from your ASA, and form your air hose, and any air in your gun up to the valve purges out.

Its normal, just dont get liquid CO2 to pour through.

-----

IF your gun truely IS makign a lot of noise (like hissing air for more then 4 or 5 seconds, then you have a messed up ASA, a messed up O-ring, or a messed up tank valve.

Turn off your co2 completely and then fire your marker until it burps and doesn't recock. Then cock it one more time, and fire again. This will remove all of the co2 that was in your xchamber, reg, whatnot. If you do that there shouldn't be any reason for co2 to come out, and if it does it won't cause any problems. Also if you have your tank turned off you aren't losing any co2, just whats left in the marker

Alpha beat me
also i'm assuming you have an on/off valve installed on your tank since you said "turn it off" if not than co2 will come out, unless you unscrew your tank just past the point of the valve pin releasing and then fire.
Either way its completely normal.

Oh so he has an on/off. Yes, do what he said. Just turn it off, and dry fire with your condom on in a safe direction (even though you take the hopper off you might not notice the ball thats in teh detents).

The air is again, coming from your gun not the tank.
