I know you don't want a Tippmann, but that's the best choice. A 98custom is one of the best guns available for woodsball. It's reliable, and can be made accurate witha longer barrel. It's the best choice.

why not a Tippy? Its really the best woods gun under $200. I find Piranas and Spyders too shiny for the woods.
The 98 is fully customizable, only upgrade it needs is a new barrel, and its low maintience.
I used to have a Brass Eagle and it was a pain in the ass to use.

I agree except for the fact that a longer barrel will not increase accuracy. Accuracy is paint to bore match. That is why barrel kits are so effective, they have the ability to make sure that the paint matches the bore of the barrel for optimum accuracy.
Edit: 200th Post!!!!

I would look along the lines of an automag.

True. I was meaning that once you find a paint that works on a certain barrel that you get, keep using that paint. I'll make it more clear next time.

Tippmanns are great for the woods, but since you dont like them...Look for a used classic mag, you can find them for under $200, and they are great guns.

It's fine I just don't want to see anyone with another 20" barrel. I was just making sure that he knows that length after about 9" is useless, and it actually starts to hurt you. The more length you have more friction is created, thus more CO2( or nitro) is required to push the ball out at a considerable speed.

if you think the gun is to shiny and you're only gonna use it for woods just gunoflauge it up. tape/painting are never to hard to comeby

who ever says accuracy is all paint to barrel match your wrong. All barrels are machined differently, most stock barrels are cheaply machined. Take a stock tippmann barrel, match the paint perfectly. Then take an ultralight, get paint thats to small, then tell me which ones accurate. If it was just the paint to bore match, kids wouldn't buy aftermarket barrels, they'd just buy the right size paint

i would not look into an automag as your first gun becuz they can be pretty pricey. i am not sayin they suck cuz they are actually fairly nice markers but a tippman 98c would be the best gun under $200.
