neck?
well im not scared aobut getting hit as much as getting hit in the neck... or throat area.. push on it hard enough and it hurts...
do masks go down far enough to cover this?
and how much are neck protectors usually

Everyone thinks that getting shot in the neck is really bad but it's not that bad at all. A shot to the elbow generally hurts worse for me.
The chances of getting shot there also is not very common, but yeah they do make masks that go down that far and neck protetcters cost around $8.

ok...
not trying to sound like a wuss.. and its not the pain that scares me its my tech teacher... tolds use it only takes like 8lbs of preasure to break your adams apple :S

I've been shot directly in the adams apple 4 times in one game and I lived.

a one ounce(or whatever it weighs) moving at 300fps generates more pounds of pressure then it just sitting there.
Jump on a scale itll read higher for a split second and then go down to whatever you weigh.

Ya it doesn't hurt as much as people say it does. It's not like you'll be damaged for ever, it'll just sting for a wile like every where else.

If you think getting hit in the neck hurts or are a little unsure about it, then I would get some gloves too. Getting hit in the knuckles isn't that fun.

hand shots do sting a bit....but then people c them and youve got a sweet story to tell, haha am i right? chicks dig scars.
EDIT: haha i did once shoot a guy right in that hole between your collarbones..this was just one shot fired from across the field haha it was freakin lucky lol, he was bleeding though
