i plan on getting a tippy 98c and putting a red dot sight on it, but how would you go about doing so? Are there special rails that you have to perchase? Do you just glue 'em on? How!?

thanks for any help

red dots can work for outdoors but the best for that would be one that looks like a tube. Nm I cant post links that are not Anythingxtreme.com Lame

two eyed sight are the best it makes you use two eyes and tricks your eyes into believing theres a red dot infront of you but these can be very expensive go to www.specopspaintball.com

Sights, lazer pointers, and everything else like that in paintball is useless. Why? Paintballs don't go straight, they either arch down or curve right or left. So what's the purpose of buying a sight if you will have to adjust where you aim when using the lazer pointer anyway? Besides the fact that if you do go to aim with a sight, the person you are aiming at will shoot you because you took too long.

Paintball is a game that its windows of opportunity, this is why it is suggest that you always be on your feet and have your marker up and ready to fire. Adjust your shots due to where your last shots landed, after awhile you will become good at it.

Exactly.

Sights are useless due to the fact that paintballs don't go straight. Don't take your time and pretend to be a "sniper". Charge the mother ****ers. Thats how you win recball. Whoever gets the farthest wins ... usually. A sight is lost money. Go buy a revy or reloader with the xtra 20$-50$ you would spend on a sight. Better yet a new barrel

Well you asked how to put it on and everyone has given you feedback not to. I'll show you how but I think you shouldn't.

You unscrew the screws under the sight. Not all the way but enough so you can put it on there. Then you put it next to the feedneck and slide it all the way down. You can have it all the way down or a lil up.
