while ive never shot a dmc, i wouldnt trade my ego for a new or old style trix in allmost any circumstance. as far as a 04 speed i wouldnt even consider that, for too many reasons to list. shockers are nice, but now that protos are the same price what reason do you have for getting them?

The guns i think you should look into: Eclipse Ego, Proto Matrix, Dye DM4, Dye DM5, Angel G7, Sonic Cyborg, System X NME, WGP Karnivor, Or a Bob Long intimidator (any kind really accept the older timmies).

Lol, I would look into borgs because of thier recent price drop. They are incredible guns and you can get them for a fairly reasonable price.

Well last time i played with my NYX I had the M3 chip in it and it seemed pretty fast but a lot of people were telling me that must Xball players don't use the old trixs anymore.

Some pro teams have tippmanns...So yeah your old trix would probably still be perfict to play with, post some pics of it! And we can determine it.

Not really.
Look at at the DM4 and 5 since you had a trix and know how to take care of one. The only other hugh end gun I can say compares is an Ego.
