I haven't played forever and feel like a newb again.
Man it's been so long since I played paintball last. Probably 8 months or so. I don't even have my gun because my friend moved and I haven't been in contact with him for a long time, has my only working gun (NYX Matrix) which seems pretty outdated for airball these days. I'm wondering if I should even continue to play paintball but I'm going to need completely new gear as all my crap is lost/gone. I'm looking at the DM5's but not sure how hot those are or even if there the "marker" to own these days. Any suggestions to get me back in game?

I just have seem to lost interest but am slowly beginning to want to play again. The prices are scaring me though. I used to have money just to throw around for paintball but now I'm pretty limited. I plan to work 50 hours straight this week and hopefully that'll get me enough this month for some equipment .I'm just really not sure what to pickup and all becuase it's been so long. I have a 03 shocker but no matter how many times I send that thing into SP they never fix the damn thing. My NYX need to get that back my only reliable gun.

the dm5 is hot, save up 1700 and get a dye dmc, that thing is amazing, glad to see your deciding to play again

Don't get a DMC. Get a DM5 instead. There are only slight differnces actually. The DM5 is just alot cheaper.

I don't really want to dish that much money out on a DMC unless it really has a major performance improvement and from my experience most matrixs shoot the same. I don't know if thats changed in 8 months.

Don't get a DMC, waste of money. Go with the DM4 or DM5.

I understand about the dmc thing, another good gun is the angel g7 its around the same price as the dm5

not flaming just better prices for about the same thing, NYX Matrixes aren't out of date they still are great guns if you stick with that you could just get some good ups.

The eclipse ego looks really nice but the XSV EGO looks impressive, unfortunately I think the XSV EGO maybe slightly out of my price range but it looks like people think it performs much better.
