is there any possible way or upgrade u can make on an ion so that it can have an lcd screen so u dont have to unscrew the frame every time u want to change the modes?

Lets see....The ion board wont know what the hell a LCD board will be when you plug it in, so you'd basically have to make a new board thats capable of using a LCD board from the start.

Maybe someday they will come out with some LCD board, (aftermarket). But right now i dont think you can do it.

Anything is possible with the right tools.

The only way this is possible is if you made a board that was the stock board, but accepted the LCD and knew how to use it. You would need machinary that would cost you a lot of cash though.

If you really want an LCD screen get a used Timmy.

your not uncrewing the frame, your taking off the grips
if you were to make/buy a board that could change modes without removing the grips it wouldnt be tourney legal
