are pods necessary

OK im about to order my first gun and im not quite sure. Am i really going to need pods and a pack my first time out, or should i wait a couple weeks until i really start to shoot more paint. If they are, wat is a good pack(high quality) that i would be able to keep in the future(not have to upgrade later on.

Depends what kind of balling, how much paint and such. Woodsball...I always carried 2 pods in each of my pockets.

One of the first things I bought when I moved to speedball was a Reloader B and a pack...

I LOVE empires packs...I bought their 4+5 and it is sooooo comfortable, I usually only carry 4 or 5 pods though...but I love Empire...NXE packs are nice as well.

if you're just starting woodsball, i suggest you dont, cause it starts that nasty habbit of wasting paint like i did my first time. With speed ball or after you get you get better their nice to have

Get a Proto 3 pod pack. It's ideal for woods or speedball.

just get the $20 brass eagle pack from K-mart. But you are going to need duck-tape the bottom to hold them in better cause they fall out when you run

Yea that sounds good, I never realized how much paint you go through in speedball untill I played. So as soon as you start playing that more I would reccomend at least a 3+2 pack
