Do you have a pump league that you'll be playing in? I wouldn't really recommend putting that much money into a gun if your gonna be playing againist Ions... I haven't really seen any places that sell these. Sorry

What do you mean pump, but not pump action????
For a good pump, check out Wevopaintball.com for CCI Phantoms or CCM J2 or S-5

thats the funnist thing i have ever heard! you obviocely never seen a "good" pump player. i would take an ion owner anyday, most of them are n00bs anyway. why else would you need 17 bps, unless you suck?
if your gonna cet a pump, go for a phantom, sl-68II, sniperII, or hell, anything that floats your boat.

i dont know if phantoms are considered stock pump class becuz you dont have to pump every time you shoot. example: you can hold down the pump and just pull the trigger.

Got that backwards, You hold down the trigger and just work the pump action. Any pump with that basic design has that feature (or 'problem' if you see it that way).
It's almost worthless when it comes down to it, for me at least. I shake the gun too much to hit anything.

Or if you take the safety out of a Blade you can do that too.

wrong, but that's already been explained.
This is a very stupid thing to do though. It almost always results in a chopped ball or blank shots. And even if you do get a few out, they are all over the place and the consistency drops rather quickly.
A stock makes it a bit easier. but still, ive never used it during a game.
If you get a Phantom, pay the extra money to get a 45* grip. M16 grip sucks.
You can play pump easily against ions. It's incredibly easy in woodsball, a bit more difficult in speedball, but still very doable.
