That would be a J&J ceramic, ya? Then that is a good choice. Also the empire hopper is a good choice. Nice job not going for the 18 inch barrel! Welcome to paintball, and good luck.

There's always compressed air, it makes your consistancy (sp?) a lot better. Also an on/off valve. Veeery helpful. Your gun is electric, ya?

Compressed air is basically... well... compressed air. It is an upgrade from co2. It is very nice, you can find more about it here Air system FAQ's and Everything else . It is a very nice upgrade. By the by, try to stop double posting, fit all your ideas into one.

You can get a J&J in Tippmann Threads, thatll work.

For the tippmann? Whatever you do, don't go for the flatline. There are some good barrels out there. Also maybe a revolution hopper. Don't get a scope or any of that junk. For a whole list of upgrades go to Tippmann Upgrade Thread.

Well, there are many topics on it in the tippmann forum, but if he really feels like it. Seems like a waste of money to me, though.

agreed if he want a 100 dollar barrel he could get a stiffie. But currentlky action village is selling ramping chips for spyders for 20 dollars

the flatline barrel does give you more range, but it reduses you effective range. the balls don't break after a certain distance.
