may get new gun....got some questions
ok guys her is what may happen, my parents might get me a promaster for my 16th birthday(its in a few months but w/e) so i have a few questions about it.
1. it says the gun is low pressure, if i get a high pressue tank will this work. Can i adjust the pressure down with just ther reg. on the gun?
2. i also want to get a halo.do you think i would be better off buying one new or used?
3. i would need to get a asa and a hose because it doesnt come with one. if i use marco line will i need to buy a fitting for it to connect with the asa or can i get it all in a sepperate set that i can buy?
4. if i sell my spyder what do you think i can get?
i have a black 03 imagine
teardrop barrel
checkit slip on feed adapter
checkit sweet spot trigger
dye stickies
checkit on/off drop forward
i may not even sell the imagine and just use it as a backup gun because its in really good condition and i like the way it shoots, but i may need to so i can pay for the tank.but either way, what do you think i can get for it?

The regulator of the gun will make your gun shoot low pressure, which means it will make your tank go to low pressure also.

I would try to get one used. But new is always better.
3. i would need to get a asa and a hose because it doesnt come with one. if i use marco line will i need to buy a fitting for it to connect with the asa or can i get it all in a sepperate set that i can buy?
Just get a unimount, cp on/off w/rail and a macroline. Your shop should do the fitting and such for you.4. if i sell my spyder what do you think i can get?
i have a black 03 imagine

175 tops

if you still have the stock parts for the imagine then part out the upgrades and sell the gun stock, youll make much more money. Even doing that, 175 is very optomistic. Im not sure about wether you need a LP tank for the promaster. Many low-pressure guns you can(and should) use high-pressure tanks since the in-line reg is good enough to lower the pressure. However, i do know that stock BKO's did have a lot of problems when being used with high-pressure tanks. If you do end up needing a low-pressure tank, only buy a crossfire one.

Mangobutter is right. Spyder retail is way down. It was never all that high, since theyr're cheap to begin with, but now with the new class of high end entry level markers less people are buying spyders anyways.
