A few starter guns questions...
1.) What would be a good gun that will last me for more than a year that is under $300? (no tippies or spyders)
2.) I heard someone say that newbs shouldn't get an ion because they will muder it. What did they mean by this?
3.) Please list any upgrades for the gun that you suggest.
I'm not playing tourny ball right now, but would like to sooner or later, with the same gun (Uped of course) if possible...

The ion would probably be your best bet, the problem is you won't know how to work it. Honestly the best thing you can do in your case is buy an e-spyder. Get an imagine, don't upgrade it other than a nice loader, and hpa, because you can use those on your next marker. Then, as soon as you are comfortable with how to fix/clean/use your spyder, sell it and buy an ion, or other mid end marker. Thats how most people started out, and its the easiest way to learn the sport before you start getting into gear thats foing to take extra work.

I think a B2K4 with pds and a cheap HPA tank, and a Halo B would run around $350-$375. That would get you started and be great for when you start tourney balling.

im selling a chaosed bushy for under 200. but honestly you would be better off getting a spyder or tippy andgetting used to how to maintain a gun.

yeah, i say go with an imagine, but if you insist on not getting a spyder go for the B2K4 with PDS $240 right now.

Dont get an ion for a first marker unless you know how to assemble and disassemble it VERY well, also an ion with a good motorized loader and nice tank will cost well over $300
Try a spyder for a while, move up from there.

ehhh no!
its defanatly a high end marker!  ............. i mean (ok this doesent mean its high end but it is a good point) do yuo see professional teams using a wrath or a promaster!!!!!!!!! ... no you dont but you do see them using an ION! ...team strange uses an ION... and dynasty is making a dynasty ION .. and there are more!!! ... it is defenatly high end... its just those people get mad that a 300 marker can keep up witht here 1500 machine.. its just ignorance!  |

i would suggest the fenix i got it like 2 or 3 days ago and lpayed with it it rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!! also an electric hopper a must have

Ignorance? What is ignorant is thinking an Ion will keep up/out preform a DM4, DM5, Proto, 2k5 timmies, EGO's, etc. It just won't happen.

Well I'd go with the Ion, but you might want to read up on it a lot and learn about it because it can be a difficult marker if you don't know much about paintball. If not that then I would go with the Spyder Imagine and mod it.

no... strange has strange shockers, ion is there back for a reason, why? because actual high end markers are better. period.

Bite the bullet and get a spyder, hpa and a halo. Then you can upgrade to an ion when you get good enough.
