Ok, my brother has gone balling with me once and he liked it (no suprise). Today we sat down and talked about what gun and gear. I have a M98 that he could use but it needs a new valve and a power tube, which will cost about $40.00 US (were Canadian) so it will cost us more so lets say that it will cost $90.00 CA with shipping. IMO he should just save a little longer and get an Imagine as the local fields are either Speedball or Speedball oriented, plus I prefer to play speed. A new imagine will cost 200 plus a revy so 240. Thats about a 150 dollar difference. Should he go for the imagine?



PS the M98 has a bunch of trigger work that I have done to it and a JJ ceramic barrel.

An imagine isnt really a $150 upgrade, id suggest fixing your marker

it would only be 50 w/out shipping, then it would be 130 w/out shipping for the imagine + 50 for the revvy. so thats 130 (110 for all the americans) dif (you save 20 can by my calculations and every penny counts) so i say if he really want to get into the sport and speedball is his choice (let him play both and decide) then i would go for it.
