My gun?
I bought a PMI R6 kit and I was told that it would suck horribly, but it works much better than my friends spyder victor II. Someone told me that the R6 was full of problems, but so far I've had it for 3 months and have faced no problems. It doens't have a handle which sucks, but I've gotten use to it. Well anyways my friend is willing to sell me his vistor II, different friend than the one who's victor II is broken a lot. So should I buy it or stick with the R6. The only reason I'm not sure is because everyone has been telling me that the R6 is crap. I know it isn't an intimidator or anything, but as a beginner who does't plan on doing any tourney's should I just stick with it. I usually only ever play paintball on the weakends with my friends. Also we only play woodsball. My cousin who plays really good and has all sorts of good guns said that I should stick with it because I am pretty good with it and I'm only a beginner so I don't need to go out and buy a shocker or anything. Oh and btw I have only been playing for about 3 months. All opinions are wanted.

if you like it theres no reason to upgrade...
especially if you only play woodsball and feel you can be competetive with your gun...
if you plan on upgrading or starting to play with more advance players then wait till you can get somethin better than a spyder..
If you plan on playing with your friends for a while then look at getting some upgrades (that is if you like your gun) you can get a better barrel (J&J Ceramics are awsome and relativly cheap)... or like an expansion chamber/regulator if you don't have one and can find one for a pirhanah (sorry i dont got alot of expirience with piranhas)

That's alright. Thanks for the advice though. I am going to buy a new barrel soon along with a new hopper.

Well he said it is only two months old and he hasn't run through it much, sp he's charging 50$ for just the gun. I decided not to buy it though because I bought some extra stuff today for my R6.

lol $ 50 is a bad price for a used victor anyway... I bought my rodeo (the best mech spider and in camo) for $68 new lol...
Hope you like your R6...
and don't let your friends get to you... i got some friends that think tippmans are the ultimate paintball guns but i got a spyder and i still get'em so...

There isn't much of a difference between mech spyders.

Its not a handle, its a forgeip... People use the term handle a lot.. A handle on a firearm or marker even would be on the top so you can carry it when your not using it.
You can get one easily. They're like $20 online. You'd need to change the air hose though.
The guy who told you they were full of problems is an idiot.
Spyders have more parts then piranhas, and in my opinion, that makes them infereor to piranhas (for beginners).
They're all based ont eh same stacked tube blowback design anyways.

So all I have to do is get a new hose that works with a grip?
