tippmann 98 custom or pro

I was wondering which one is better for the money. Mostly playing woodsball. Or if you have any others you would recomend for about $100-150. Is $117 good for the custom and $158 for the pro?

I don't get what you're asking... Are you talking about the Pro/Carbine, or the Custom 98 Pro?

The pro has more stuff on it stock. I would actually get the Pro-E. It has like an e-grip type thing installed stock so its like an electronic trigger. Otherwise, I would say the pro. And yes, those are good prices.

Ah, ok... Most people find the 98c to be sufficient. Also, I heard the barrel that comes with the Custom Pro sucks pretty hard... You would probably be better off spending like $30 on a j&j ceramic anyway. The only other things that the custom pro offers is a drop forward and a double trigger- both cosmetic parts. The 98c is a great gun for woodsball, you won't be disappointed with it.

if u want something for woodsball then the 98c would be just fine for you.. you wont need many cosmetics or a high ROF and you have more to spend on your gun if you so choose in the long run...

I have a 98 pro and it shoots great with a J&J ceramic installed. Shoots way left with the stock barrel.
