I want to know if it is a good gun because I don't want to play one time and have a crap gun. I do not want a Ion either...they are too expensive for me. If the worr games trilogy comp. is a crappy gun I'll find another one that I like and ask about it.

I wouldent get a triology. I heard that their kind of crappy.. I'd get a imagine.. But someone more experienced then me will come along and help you.

in that price range your looking at, the imagine would be your best bet.

It's an ok gun... It's made by WGP, so you know it has quality. The only thing most people do not like about them is their lame milling, tiny swing trigger, and lack of aftermarket upgrades. If cockers appeal to you, go for either a new Psychoballistics Superbolt or Lightning Deluxe (Less than $100), or go on Ebay and find a used e-cocker for the same price as a new trilogy pro.

Yeah if you want a cocker get the psychoballistics(do lots of research b4 buying a cocker tho), if not defanitly get an imagine

I was going to get a psychoballistics when I got my Icon because they were about the same price. I've done research on the trilogy and there was nothing but good reveiws except for a few complained about the trigger. thanks. If I were to get a psychoballistis what upgrades should I get?

I'm going t buy the Trilogy sport...the reason is because I can find it on ebay for 90 bucks. I don't want to get the psychoballistics because of how unstable they seem. some are perfect and some are crap. Im going with the trilogy because all of the reviews have been good.

people, he has an icon E. its like the same exact thing as an imagine. read his sig. i wouldn't get the trilogy (or any cocker) if you aren't good at fixing things, or have less than about 8 months of experience with paintball guns.

if you're going to get a new gun, if i were u, id get a semi-auto spyder/pirahna. just as good and more reliable than the trilogy i would say. if you are going to get an electric gun, i wouldnt get anything but the ion even tho its pricey for you, anything else low end wouldnt really be worth it.

You allready have an icon-e so there really isnt any point in "upgrading" to another spyder or spyder clone since it will have pretty much the same performance. At the same time, a trilogy cocker wouldnt be much of an upgrade either. Instead i would suggest getting an HPA(high pressure air) tank and a motorized hopper(either a VL revolution for $25 or a Halo B for $100) and then selling your marker and getting a wrath, promaster, ion, or used matrix. Although you may think these guns are too expensive, its better to upgrade once and be happy then to make numerous small upgrades and waste your money.

I'm going to stick with my Icon for a little while. I think that an HPA and a superfly bolt are next on my list..followed by T-board, ramping chip, break-beam eyes. I'd rather have a 500 dollar uped icon then to buy a 500 dollar gun and need to get the necessary ups for it. <--(Victory said something like that)

this is just my opinion, but an ion with $100-$200 worth of upgrades on it would perform better and have WAY better resale. upgrading and icon would be stupid.

it might but i dont play enough and arent good enough for an ion. it would kill me in my sleep for lack of use. lol
(Once I get t-board , ramping chip, t-switch, and break beam eyes I will be done...just 100 more dollars)

how does tha relate to my post at all. since he doesnt play a lot i said get a semi auto which wont let him down and if it does its so easy to fix. i also said if you are going to get a new gun or upgrade his current spyder electro clone that it would be in his best interest (performance and financially) to get an ion. i said nothing about an espyder. please quiet down :P

ok y'all..stop fighting..(dont make me reach back there) lol. I have currenlty 200-250 dollars insto my gun including the gun. HPA even though expensive doesnt count in the upgrade because I would keep it once i sell the Icon. so in all i plan on spending at the most 350. if I were to get an ion and put not even 100 dollars into it...it wouldnt be any better...(maybe a lil). I am happy with my decision. Besides an ion would be better for speedball , i play woodsball. i never play at my local feild...its too expensive...for me

It would be just like upgrading an imagine. The milling on the guns are almost exactly the same.

if your upgrading from an icon e, the ion would seem amazing to you... stock. let alone with 50 bucks worth of ups.
however, i think since money is tight for you, you should get a b2k4 with pds. they're like 200 brand freaking new online, and perform almost the same as the ion. then you'd have 150 to spend on ups instead.
