What grip to get?
Hey guys. I have a Mokal Fokus vx 2k3, and I cannot stand the stock plastic grip on it. I know that there are aftermarket grips made, but how do I know what one will fit my marker? Should I just buy one and then hope that it fits? Or is there a specific kind that works.
Thanks
harris

Just eyeball your current grips and eyeball on the enet the ones you want and see what works. That's what I did and all was good.

allmost all grips will fit allmost all markers so your probably safe. I'd suggest buying them at a paintball store not only to be sure they'll fit but also to try them out before you buy. Each hand is different so i would highly recomend trying them beforehand. Personally i would get dye sticky 3's. Hybrid grips aren't as comfortable and i dont think would really look good on a Mokal.

I just bought a set of sticky 3's last weekend. The rubber is a very soft comfortable composite

well its just like everyone has to have hybrids now, but i dont know why because when i look for grips, i look for something comfy. looks come second imo.
then again maybe its because of my frame im using... maybe they wouldn't be so bad on a different frame.

you can't post links to other sites other than x paintball because they basically own this site.

I don't care how confortable they are, hybrids are really hot grips. Stickies...are too soft in my opinion, and dont look good with most guns.

hybrids are kinda becoming the new "poser grips" at my school. its really funny. theres this kid with one of thoes "nitro tippmanns" that tippmann used to sell, and he put ***** grips on it and brags about how it can own any gun. theres also some kids with spiders and ions who either have hybrids or are constantly talking about how they're going to get them.
yeah they're definetly the sweetest looking though. like i said, maybe they would be better if i had a different grip frame or something. i like the look of stickies on my mag, but your correct when you say that they look kinda bad on most guns.

I would go with the smartparts pro-touch grips. They work.

for reference that is his gun.
personally, i dont like the way hybrid grips look on curvier guns only on straighter cut markers(shockers, timmies). Even if you do think the hybrids would look sweet, he is complaining about comfort not appearance.
