Hmm...not really a new player, just new to the site. I had no idea where else I could post this. I have a 98 custom, with a 14" barrel. I've been tooling around with it for some time now, but the truth is, I am getting bored with it. It's a great gun, and there are plenty of upgrades, but i would rather sell it and buy a new gun instead of pouring another $200-$300 dollars of upgrades in.

I have been looking at both the Spyder Electra ACS and the Raven Nexion, both made by Kingman. I figure i can get $150-$200 for my 98, (gotta check the current pricing) and i have no problem dropping another hundred for one of those.

I play woodsball, mainly because it is convenient, but it is very fast paced.
It is set up with two hills merging on a creek. We start at the tops in the open, just like recball. I consider myself a sniper, i have a pretty good shot and don't use too much paint.

This being said, what are your suggestions? Should i get an Electra, a Nexion, or a completely different gun? I like some of the guns compatible with Nitrous, but no one close by fills it. All help is appreciated.

Yeah, my bad. I like cars with nitrous oxide and stuff. Anyways, i meant nitrogen.

well, if they say they are compatabile with N2, you can use HPA on them usually, unless im missing something. If your playing woodsball and consider yourself a sniper, do you really need the speed of something like the electra? (Not that the electra is a super fast marker, but its marketed that way)

no, i don't. i probably need a mix. I just want a better gun with good accuracy. adding an expansion chamber to control spikes and a responsive trigger for speed is all right and kind of cheap, but, i don't know how to say it. Maybe woodsball wasn't the right term. It can get pretty heavy in team games, and for a quick one on one match also. The electra and the nexion were just two guns that i am considering. like i said, the 98 is boring me for some reason. Yes, i know that the electra is marketed as super fast. It sounds like a dream gun, but i am looking for one that has decent speed (bps) and accuracy. So yeah, speedball. In MY woodsball, i can make anything work.

Does Dick's carry HPA? What stores (generally) carry it?

dicks doesn't carry hpa. The tanks themselves will need to be purchased at a proshop or online store. They are usually only filled at fields.
If you still play woodsball, and don't need too much speed I'd say pick up an imagine. grab a new barrel,bolt, and a revvy for it and you'll be set.
