Rodeo or Imagine?
I've been playing paintball for about a year, but I'm still pretty much a newb. I currently have a Spyder Victor II, 20 oz. CO2 tank, and a gravity feed hopper. I know i'm going to get an electro hopper very soon, and I know that I REALLY want a new gun. I was wondering if I should get the Spyder Imagine, or the Spyder Rodeo. I play mostly woodsball, although I do enjoy speedball, i just don't really have the money. I don't really have any plans to get a HPA tank, at least not any time soon. Any advice would be much appreciated, thanks!

imagine. It will be much faster then the rodeo (which isn't a upgrade from ur victor)
After a e-hopper invest in a okay barrel.

Thanks for the advice. But I had heard that the CO2 might freeze up the electronics in the imagine, is that true?

Wow, this is like the thousandth thread concerning the Imagine and another Spyder. Someone should make a sticky saying that the Imagine is the best spyder to get. That is my answer by the way. Rodeo's are just expensive Imagines with a few differences like milling.

no. The co2 never touches the electronics. U may however cause the co2s temperature to drop b/c of how fast ur shooting. This may make the gun parts (bolt and hammer) very cold and possibly freeze up. If that happens, don't worry, just recock and keep playing.

i never used the rodeo but i got a 04 imagine.. it works great for a unexpensive gun.. You might want to get a clamping feedneck once u get the gun..the feed it comes with is cheap and site up to high... I havent made any upgrades yet becuz ive had no problems.. It is a great gun stock*

I really like the design of the rodeo, the fact that it comes in camo, and the gauge. If I bought the rodeo and then later put an e-frame on it, do yall think that would be good?

Thanks for all the advice guys, but I think I'm gonna get a Rodeo. The Rodeo just seems a lot more suited to woodsball, and its cheaper. A question I have though, is, should I get an e-hopper for my Rodeo? I can shoot around 10 bps. Thanks.

The rodeo is a better gun for woodsball for sure. An e hopper is always a good thing for any gun. The dif between a rodeo and an imagine.... well the body is better on the rodeo the exspansion chamber is better, equipped with an e frame would roast an imagine. But most will say that is just my opinion.......lol
